Beginning in July 2026, we will be meeting at Whitney Elementary School:
What to Expect
We get it, going to a church for the first time (especially one in a school) is probably not the easiest thing to do! Just know this, every single person here was a new person at one time not too long ago! That is one of the wonderful things about a new church, you don’t have people who have been there forever saying, “you’re in my seat.” During your first visit you will meet friendly people having a cup of coffee, maybe snacking on a donut, just chatting and getting to know each other. The service itself is “down to earth” and you will catch on really fast.
We understand that every single person who walks through the doors is in a different place on their journeys of faith. If you are just getting started or have been going down that path for a long time, we hope you feel “at home” when you join us.
Style of Worship
We will be launching with a blended style of worship. What this means is that there will be traditional aspects to the service itself, with traditional and contemporary music. The pastor shares a message in a relaxed/conversational style that is easy to follow along and always relatable.
The biggest thing to note about our style of worship: No smoke machines, no flashing lights, no “performance” based music. Although we are far from perfect, it is our mission to always be authentic. If you are looking for a traditionally authentic expression of faith and a place where you can come and explore your own journey of faith, then we invite you to join us!
Nursery Availability
We are renting two rooms at Whitney: One for nursery and another for Sunday School. As our Sunday School (or nursery) grows, we will work with the school to add more rooms. Our current plan is to hire two preschool teachers to work in the nursery every Sunday so your children will be taken care of by professionals. All staff will be background checked and have current CPR certification. The Nursery will be available 15 minutes before service begins and will continue until our after-church bible study is over (if needed).
What to Wear?
Feel free to wear whatever you feel comfortable wearing. Some people may come more formal while others may come in jeans or shorts. We aren’t here to judge what you wear, we are here to join together on our journeys of faith.
